On December 28, 2022, the Vatican released an apostolic letter, Totum Amoris Est (Everything Pertains to Love), to commemorate the 400th anniversary of the death of St. Francis de Sales. You can read the letter here.

DeSales Resource Center has just published a new book by Margaret Margeton entitled, Personal Encounters with the Love of God: St. Francis de Sales and the Sacraments.
Each of the seven chapters begins with a brief overview of the sacrament being considered and then explores how the sacrament was effective in the life and writings of St. Francis de Sales and/or another Salesian saint, such as St. Jane de Chantal. The book includes some brief anecdotes about Margaret's own experiences of the sacraments, some going back to her childhood, others more recent. At the end of each chapter there are a few questions for reflection and a boxed summary of key points about each sacrament, based on the Catechism of the Catholic Church.
